What to expect from private tutoring

First Session

During our first session, I will talk to you and ask questions about who you are, what classes you are taking, how many hours of work you do, and then ask questions about the particular class you want to get tutored in.

It is in this session that I try to understand what you struggle with in chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and what study skills you need help with or would help you the most. After chit chatting for a bit, we can then go into chemistry tutoring, biology tutoring, or science tutoring.

This is an example of a question that I gave a student through online tutoring. She was able to send me what she drew and I told her what was correct and incorrect about her organic chemistry mechanism.
Students are working on their college chemistry courses and I am making sure to take notes on what students are doing well. I also try to make sure each student has tailored personalized tutoring assignments so they get the most bang for their buck.

All Future Sessions

After the first session, all future sessions will be hardcore chemistry tutoring, biology tutoring, science tutoring, or study skills and time management practice.

As we continue to work together, I will make sure I am providing the highest quality science tutoring by providing worksheets, practice problems, study skills, study techniques, and drills to keep you active and working throughout our entire hour.
